How much Sleep do we Need
According to a study conducted through the National Sleep Foundation, the average is 7-9 hours for bodies to function correctly. However, most of us don’t get that much. Some do believe that CBD doesn’t impact sleep directly, since it may just be treating stress, pain, anxiety, and the like, and that improves the sleep patterns. According to one study that was done over 30 days, it was found that about 70% of the people had better sleeping scores, and almost all of them had their anxiety levels majorly dropped.
The study also looked at how it benefits sleep patterns. But as we mentioned, it’s not totally clear if this is benefitting because of the CBD on sleep itself, or if the reduced anxiety helps. It also aids with chronic illnesses, so if you do mitigate the effects of chronic illness, it can possibly help you sleep better.
CBD dosage and sleep
The amount of CBD you should take does depend on your tolerance. For example, those lower dosages of CBD that are below 100 mg usually tend to stimulate you, making you be awake for a bit longer. It’s good for those that do suffer from disorders of the circadian rhythm, but high dosages over 300 mg are great for those who want to have sound sleep, and it’s good for those who have REM behavior problems, where you tend to flail and move about during sleep.
